- Also known as "Snake Cucumber" or "Yard Long Cucumber"
Summer salad vegetable. Long pale green heavily ribbed fruits with small seed cavity and mild flavour. Does not need peeling; is eaten skin and all. Fruit grows up to 90cm but is best when picked at around 30cm. To achieve straight fruit grow on a trellis. Also known as Snake Cucumber and Yard Long Cucumber. Ideal for salads. Heavy cropping.
